[...] Another Hyperlocal Blogging Blog Worth Reading A quick post introducing BloggerLens, a new blog about hyperlocal blogging written by Steve Sherron. [...]
Matt, thanks very much for highlighting my new hyperlocal blog. I appreciate it very much. When I made the decision to go hyperlocal in my hometown, this blog. “hyperlocalblogger” was instrumental in helping me get started. I consider you as the number one resource for everyone considering starting a community web site. Thanks for your generous mention of my new site.
this whole hyper local blogging thing is trippin’ me out – talk about micro niching – loving it – btw that kanye west letterman jacket story about leveraging twitter was great – never a day passes i don’t reflect with joy at this little miracle known as the interweb…
You’re welcome, Steve – keep up the great work. And thx for the kind words.
Satya – thx for joining the discussion. Hope you’ll stick around and say more when the spirit moves you.
Love the site. I’m in the first stages of setting up my online research assistance site and in the meantime work for a cleaning company, The Cleaner Image, in Gainesville, Florida. I’m trying to get my bosses to understand why they NEED an online presence, even going so far as to promise to set it up and manage it myself if necessary.
I’ve subscribed to your site in the hopes something you share will give that extra ‘oomph’ to my arguments to my bosses. Either that or my site takes off so I can stop cleaning other people’s dirty ovens and nasty bathrooms.
Thanks for the kind words, Molly. If you have any specific questions, don’t be afraid to drop me a line. Hope things are going well with your bosses and/or your own site.
Matt,
Unfortunately I’ve had a glitch in my website (I don’t own it. My web hosting company dropped the ball. Long story.) but I’m still trying to work things out with the ‘real’ owner and continue to work on setting up my blogs in the meantime.
Thanks for the offer of help. I’m learning as I go and just reading your advice is plenty of help.
Molly
