Thanks - I didn't realize that google maps was pulling local content - really cool. I have been playing around with this Wordpress plugin - http://code.google.com/p/wordpress-geo-mashup/wiki/Documentation
which makes it really easy to put your blog posts on a map and then see your posts by location. Here is a post in which I added a map - http://iheartpgh.com/2010/01/14/kidsburgh-campfire-building/

I am really excited about this for my Go Burley blog. I thought it would be fun to start a review section on the site, of local businesses in the area and then have users leave their experiences in the comments. Will be interesting.

By the way, looking forward to meeting in person in Spokane.

Matt-

This is great insight! I was pleasantly surprised to see the number of places we show up for on Google Maps. My favorite of course is the Dryden Transfer Station - not quite the dump, but pretty close.

Glad to see that Ice Harbor Brewery pops up on the screenshot. Last time I was in town some good friends took us there for dinner.
