I revisited Mapquest local today to find my Tweets being shown and all of the videos at the bottom of the page highlighting local videos were mine. I think it’s a good idea to SEO your videos with the name of your town so they are picked up on sites like this.

You’re right, Geordie. They added that Twitter widget sometime after this post, and I think I wrote about it on my other blog (Small Biz Search Mktg.). It’s a cool addition.

Also notice the Twitter widget. If you are the only local Tweet, you will definitely get some exposure. (same with youtube and flickr)

Thanks again Matt. I just signed up. What I found amusing is that when I went to the local page for my town, on the bottom right of the page, sat one of my videos that Truveo had pulled from youtube.
