Hey Rebecca -- a year or so ago, I used appmakr.com to make an iPhone app for my U2 fan site. It takes RSS feeds, Twitter feeds, YouTube feeds, etc., and pulls them into a pretty cohesive experience. Mind you, it's a bit of a hassle if you only publish partial posts in your feed. If you want to download my U2 app to see how it looks/works, here's the link:

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/u2-built-by-appmakr-com/id349369224?mt=8

There are other sites/services similar to appmakr.com, too. Do some shopping around. In fact, if you make a list of such sites/services, I'd love a guest blog post about how/where to get an app for hyperlocal blogs. :-)

Is there anything available out there now that could 'mobile-ize' my site for someone who'd find a Ravenna Blog app useful?

I'm not talking about something fancy and handcrafted for my site. More like a service that could app-ify my feed for mobile device users.

Anything out there like that?

I love the App on my Droid, "BlogAway". Discussing Mobile capabilities you can blog straight from your phone while your covering an event. It is very easy to use. The other day I came across an accident and BlogAway lets you snap a photo add in the text and submit. Your story is live. I wish I could adapt some form of APP for the iPhone and Droid, as well.
